So my old blog, blogs.pingpoet.com/overflow is down (temporarily) and I've been meaning to move it to a something like blogger for a while now. I guess fate decided I had procrastinated enough and has pushed me into it a bit sooner than I wanted...
Luckily the server is backed up and even functional. The problem is my trusty firewall/router box (I love my free and open source smoothwall.org box) lost a hard drive and it has cut off my blog server from the Internet.
Normally I could get this back up in a matter of hours with the backup and the spare parts laying all over the house, but since I'm in Russia for another month, it is going to be a while before I get it back up. Meanwhile, I'll just "overflow" here. After I get back I'll import the posts from the old server to here and setup some redirects to redirect everything here to blog.scott.willeke.com . Want to know how to do that? Start here and I'll post more when I get back to the states and do it.
